We have small kittens to very elderly cats that are newcomers, they usually settle very well with the proper care and attention. We encourage new or prospective customers to come and have a good look around the cattery so that they can see the facilities, It also gives them a chance for them to meet myself and have a chat about their cat’s needs and to answer any questions they may have.

What litter do you use?
At Stallhouse Cattery we use wood chip cat litter. Sustainably-sourced, medium-absorbency wood litter with natural antibacterial properties. Lightweight, virtually dust-free, and gentle on paws.
However if your cat needs an alternative just let us know as we are more than happy to discuss any of your cats needs that will help with their stay.

Flea & Worming Treatment
All cats must be update to date with flea & worming treatment for the duration their boarding.
If a cat is to found to be hosting fleas or worms they will be put into isolation until treated. This is done at the owners cost. Please ensure they are covered as putting them into isolation will add unnecessary stress to their stay.

If you can become ill while staying with us we will contact you straight away & if needed we will make arrangements to take them to see a vet. This can be your vet if close enough or our local vet. You will be kept updated the whole time.
